New WSS horse command pack available

We released a new set of cavalry command figures. The officers in this pack are all wearing a sash around the waist, the two trumpeters are wearing a different livery then the ones in SPS4-12. With this new addition you can field most of the horse regiments of all nations during the “War of the Spanish Succession”.
WSS Cavalry release

Our first set of cavalry for the “war of the Spanish succession”, a regiment of horse. Most armies during this period had cavalry uniformed and equipped like these troopers, so when adding cavalry to your army, these are a real good choice to get started.
This pack contains a set of 15 cavalry figures. They have been designed as a unit but along with four different horse codes there are actually five different figure codes in this pack, this will make them the most smart looking cavalrymen on any wargaming table.
Hamburger Tactica 2023
On the 18th and 19th of February “Van Dyck Models & Figurines” will be present at the annual wargame event “Hamburger Tactica” in Germany. It’s an excellent way to get more familiar with our miniatures and see them in the flesh, over a thousand painted miniatures will be on display. It’s our favourite wargame event of the year, lots of friendly Germans and visitors from all over northern Europe, a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere, we try to attend each year. Although I’m are very happy we’re finally launching this website, unfortunately not all of our ranges are available yet. Currently our “War of the Spanish succession” range and our ancient Germans are well represented. The rest of our ranges will gradually become available again in slots when all the moulds have been refreshed and production has provided sufficient stock. Meanwhile I keep on making new miniatures for future expansions of the current and new ranges.
I’m planning to give an update by the end of this year on when and which slots can be reopened again. I thank you all for your patience.

Fix Bayonets

In 2019 we announced the release of our very own WWI game system called “Fix Bayonets”. It was first intended to handle combat during the first few months of WWI before everything got clogged down in trench warfare. Intended to support and to get feedback after the initial release we founded a Facebook group of the same name. Unfortunately due to all the events that happened shortly after in 2020 it became clear we had to postpone the whole project for an uncertain amount of time.
I’m very pleased to announce we’re back on the project and I hope to announce a new release date by the end of this year.
